My Bio
In an effort to answer all the questions I've been receiving in one place, here is a bit about me, what I do, my appreciation, and links!
About the quiet sewing ninja behind Ichigo Black...which happens to be me.. ^_^
-All the clothing in the gallery was indeed designed by me. My mom helps with the sewing. It is currently my full time job.
-I do make my own patterns, as well as alter existing ones. I don't sell patterns because my marking system only makes sense to me. Every time someone else has attempted to use them without me there to explain my logic, they have failed horribly.
- I don't have time to make tutorials, and even if I did, they would most likely suck because I'm an awful teacher. I can teach myself just about anything that interests me, but I can't figure out how to share that knowledge coherently (-_-);;;;
-I would love to give away free items (or give discount) to all the people that ask (and looking back... I kind of did...) but please remember that this is not just a hobby, this is my full time job and many, many hours go into each piece I make. I try to offer a decent range in prices in the hopes that everyone can afford something. I can no longer sponsor people I don't know, so please stop asking.. I feel really horrible when I have to say no >_<
-I love to collaborate! I work with models, photographers, singers, etc. from all over the US and don't see that changing any time soon. So if you have a project in mind or think I can create the perfect outfit for a specific event, please don't hesitate to contact me!
-Which leads me to.... Email. That is the best way to contact me. I don't check here as often as I'd like unfortunately. Info(at) ichigoblack.com
-And THAT leads me to comments... I do read them all, and appreciate you taking the time to show your support, but I don't always have time to reply to every single comment as much as I would like to :( so I'll thank you all in advance for your kind words and continued support! Pendant is hand crafted (yes, completely made from scratch by him) and I did the wire/beading. Thoughts, comments, suggestions...?
We're still in the brainstorming process... next comes production, then photo shoot, then we list it all for people to oggle and hopefully buy because their wedding wont be complete without them XD

Anyway, the purpose of this journal entry has been forgotten. I was distracted by the crazy cute pandas and now my brain has gone blank ^^;
Hope all is well with all of you! Enjoy what we have left of summer :D I think I will crawl back into bed now and finish running elastic through the last 14 bloomers for NYCC =)
